Deep Thoughts: Welcome to another Deep Thoughts which represent my PERSONAL views & don’t reflect ANY Organization that I work with! This edition is LONG with many different thoughts so unfollow if you don’t want them.
DT: Here is our Top 32 for the 2022 NHL Draft: 1.Wright 2.Miroshnichenko 3.Cooley 4.Savoie 5.Lambert 6.Yurov 7.Kemell 8.Slafkovsky 9.Nemec 10.McGroarty 11.Geekie 12.Chesley 13.Howard 14.Mesar 15.Salomonsson 16.Mateychuk 17.Casey 18.Hughes 19.Jiricek 20.Repcik 21.Gauthier
DT: 22.Koromyslov 23.Hutson 24.Gaucher 25.Luneau 26.Lekkerimaki 27.Nelson 28.Korchinski 29.Haight 30.Verreault 31.Lisowsky 32.Nasar
DT: Some thoughts: The slow start of Wright is on no concern to me. Miroshnichenko also started slowly but his upsize is massive. Yurov lit up the MHL but his usage in the KHL has been puzzling. Cutter Gauthier is significantly underrated on a stacked team.
DT: Continued Draft Thoughts: It has taken some time for me to believe in Ty Nelson, but I’m onboard. He competes, skates very well, defends & has a bomb. Hunter Haight has all of the tools & will take off in 2nd half. Frankie Nazar is worth the price of admission.
DT: For those who ripped on Buffalo for selecting Jack Quinn in 2021, please note that he is currently leading the AHL in scoring. That is the American Hockey League…Against men…When he isn’t injured, he is a stud.
DT: Best TV Characters EVER!
